Cheddar Dill Scones

Here's another delicious scone recipe that goes delicious with your favorite soup.

2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
5 tablespoons butter
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
2 teaspoons dried dill weed
1 egg
1 cup sour cream

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In medium bowl, mix together flour, salt, and baking powder. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add cheese and dill weed. Mix together until evenly distributed. Stir in egg and sour cream and mix well until dough forms together. (I sometimes use my hands for this.) Pat the dough into a circle and divide into 8 triangles. Place each into portion of scone pan and spread to edges. Bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm with butter. Serves 8.
